For historical purposes, on January 17, 2019, Council provided the following direction to the 2019 Charter Review Committee:

•                     Consider increasing the frequency that the city charter is reviewed to 10 years.

•                     Consider instituting district elections.

There was council consensus that the Committee not discuss the form of government.
