Update on the enhancement projects underway by the Community Redevelopment Agency, CRA.

SUMMARY:
The purpose of this item is to provide an update on the enhancement projects underway by the Community Redevelopment Agency, CRA, and city departments to improve and beautify Downtown, which includes:
• Summer seasonal lighting installation will be added to the trees on the sidewalk and in the median of the 400 and 500 blocks of Cleveland Street
• The city of Clearwater's Engineering Department installed the new bollards with the extended closure of Cleveland Street at Garden, Fort Harrison, and Osceola. The planters will be installed by the end of August 2022.
• Station Square Park- New furniture, tables, chairs, and umbrellas have been placed in the Park to provide a place for the public to gather and have shade. The Park is open from sunrise to sunset.
When completed, these enchantments to Downtown align with the current Downtown Development Boards Workplan goal to increase Downtown's awareness of Downtown as a tourist destination and to increase awareness of Downtown as a fun destination for Clearwater's residents, employees, and visitors.
