First Public Budget Hearing and adoption of Resolution 21-05.

SUMMARY:
In accordance with Chapter 200 of the Florida Statutes, which defines requirements for the “Determination of Millage” and the rules governing “Truth In Millage” (TRIM) compliance, the Downtown Development Board (DDB), must hold two public hearing to adopt a final millage rate for the new fiscal year. The adoption of this resolution is to adopt a budget.
The DDB approved a preliminary budget at the August 4, 2021 meeting that outlined the proposed estimates of revenues and expenditures for the 2021/2022 fiscal year.
