Update by the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Foundation on their “Wanderlust” event grant

SUMMARY:
The purpose of this item is to provide an update on the event series, produced by Clearwater Jazz Holiday (CJH), funded by the DDB titled “Backstage Bistro Experience.” CJH produced five live music performances in downtown Station Square Park as part of the Wanderlust series.
The DDB approved a grant on February 3, 2021 of up to $30,000 to partially underwrite the cost of five concerts in Station Square Park. The DDB’s workplan supports projects that market a variety of events throughout the district and increase awareness of downtown as a tourist destination.
The concert series started on February 20, 2021, and continued Saturday nights until March 13, 2021, with one show on Friday, March 6, 2021. The showtimes were from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm. All event tickets were pre-sold by CHJ and benefited the non-profit Clearwater Jazz Holiday Foundation.
