Approve a Purchase Order with R.C. Beach and Associates of Dunedin, Florida in the amount of $121,765.00 for 4 WEIR/Floway 14DKH Transfer Pumps and authorize the appropriate officials to execute same. (consent)

SUMMARY:
These pumps complete the capital equipment replacement at the Marshall Street Sand Filters. The pumps transfer the treated effluent water to the reclaimed water holding tank at the Marshall Street WRF. The tanks hold reclaimed water which is pumped into to the reclaimed system for the city.
These pumps are direct replacements, “like for like”, that will prevent any structural and piping modifications at the facility. Using these pumps will also reduce operations and maintenance costs because the operations and maintenance staff have previously been trained on these pumps and are familiar with their operation and maintenance.
R.C. Beach & Associates, Inc. is the sole authorized municipal representative for pumps and parts for all WEIR/Floway Products in the State of Florida.

Sufficient Funding is available in the Capital Improvement Project (CIP) 3277327-96664, Water Pollution Control R&R, in the amount of $121,765.00.
