(consent)

 

Body

SUMMARY: 

The City utilizes passenger and cargo carts to facilitate special event management.  The carts allow for the most efficient site-to-site travel and transport of materials.

 

This contract will provide the required carts on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis for a variety of events including Clearwater Celebrates America, Hispanic Heritage Concert and Clearwater Sea Blues.  Other events and project locations may be added on an as-needed basis. 

 

Carts may be utilized up to one full week in advance of an event, and several days after the event. The number of carts will be determined by the City and dependent upon the size and duration of the event. 

 

The City received three responses to Invitation to Bid #11-17 of which Capital Golf Carts Inc. was determined the lowest responsive bidder. 

 

 

APPROPRIATION CODE AND AMOUNT:

Funding for this purchase contract will come from a variety of operating and capital codes but primarily from Special Events 181-99865.
