Approve the Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) project grant agreement for Henry L. McMullen Tennis Complex, in the amount of $100,000, between the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the City of Clearwater and authorize the appropriate officials to execute same. (consent)

SUMMARY:
The City has been awarded a grant in the amount of $100,000 to provide additional tennis courts at Henry L. McMullen Tennis Complex from the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection FRDAP program.
These courts will provide expanded facilities to meet the facility’s current needs.
The Henry L. McMullen Tennis Complex was one of 12 winners in the 35th annual USTA Facility Awards program, which recognizes excellence in the construction and/or renovation of tennis facilities throughout the country.
APPROPRIATION CODE AND AMOUNT:
The City’s match of $33,000 for this project will come from existing funds in CIP “McMullen Tennis Project (315-93271).
