Approve settlement of the liability claim on behalf of Brittany Cervino for payment not to exceed $100,000.00 and authorize the appropriate officials to execute same. (consent)

SUMMARY:
On May 17, 2015, a city driver/vehicle was involved in an automobile accident with the claimant. The claimant was injured and that is the basis for her claim. The settlement will result in a release of all claims by this claimant against the City and its driver.
The City’s limit of liability as provided by Section 768.28, Florida Statutes is $200,000/300,000. The City’s Risk Management Division and City’s Claims Committee recommend this settlement.
Funding for the payment of this settlement is available in the budget for claims expense in the Central Insurance Fund.
