Approve a Water Main Easement over Block 2 and 3 of J.H. Rouse’s Subdivision, conveyed to the City by the Property Owner; and authorize the appropriate officials to execute same. (consent)

SUMMARY:
The City’s use of this Water Main Easement will support a new residential development, currently under construction just north of downtown Clearwater. Garden Trail Apartments is a garden style, affordable housing project comprised of 52 two-bedroom / two-bathroom units and 24 three-bedroom / three-bathroom units. Total project size is 3.06 acres located on North Garden Avenue and adjacent to the Pinellas Trail. The property owner has agreed to grant the easement at no cost to the City. The easement will allow the City to provide potable water to residents of the complex.
