Authorize a purchase order and agreement with Olameter DPG, LLC of Waukesha, WI for natural gas main and service line locating services, in an annual not-to-exceed amount of $670,000.00 upon execution through April 30, 2027, with three one-year renewal options pursuant to the Request For Proposal 28-26, and authorize the appropriate officials to execute same. SUMMARY:
Procurement, on behalf of CGS Energy, issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) 28-26, Natural Gas Distribution Main & Service Line Locating Services. The City received five submittals from qualified firms. In coordination with the Procurement Division, a Selection Committee comprised of representatives from CGS Energy, Public Utilities, and Public Works evaluated the submissions.
Based on the evaluation results, the Selection Committee recommended issuance of a Notice of Intent to award to the highest-ranked firm, Olameter DPG, LLC. CGS Energy subsequently entered into negotiations with Olameter DPG, LLC and successfully reached a mutually agreed-upon contract for the required locating services.
Olameter DPG, LLC will provide Natural Gas Distribution Main and Service Line Locating Services, including all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidental items necessary to perform the required locating services. All work shall be performed in accordance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 556 (F.S. 556), the Underground Facility Damage Prevention and Safety Act, as amended.
The proposed contract is for an initial one-year term, through April 30, 2027, with three one-year renewal options, in a not-to-exceed amount of $670,000.00, on an as-needed basis and subject to available funding.
APPROPRIATION CODE AND AMOUNT:
Funding for this purchase order is available in CGS Energy cost codes 4232066-530300 and 4232173-530300. CGS Energy is funded by revenues from the Gas Utility Enterprise Fund.
