SUMMARY:
Survey and GeoTech - site work has been completed with no real areas of concern noted.
Terminal Design is underway and renderings have been submitted by AID
Terminal construction - as we got into the design of the terminal it was clear that the original ask of 3Mil of FDOT funding would not be enough. We have requested an additional 3mil in funding for a total of 6mil. The rotating beacon will be installed in conjunction with this construction.
Remil / Overlay - 30% design completed that included proposed stormwater pond modifications. Anticipate the 60% design submittals in the next couple of weeks.
Security System Upgrades - 2022 grant but have extended the grant to allow for installation of cameras during the construction of the new terminal.
• Installed Pilot Communications recording system.
Removal of vegetation for a GPS approach on runway 16 - project was awaiting a citywide contract with a tree service. That was approved at the last council meeting and we will be moving forward.
