SUMMARY:
The following 13 City of Clearwater employees participated in the second cohort of the Executive Leadership Academy presented by the City of Clearwater. This year-long training and development program included six modules based on EdTrek curriculum and six modules presented by City departments and subject matter experts.

STRATEGIC PRIORITY:
The Executive Leadership Academy supports the City’s strategic plan priorities of High Performing Government and Superior Public Service. The cohort advanced several objectives within the strategic plan by promoting effective and efficient service delivery through the optimization of City assets and resources. Specifically, the program supports Objective 1.5 within the High Performing Government category: Embrace a culture of innovation that drives continuous improvement and successfully serves all our customers.
Additionally, under the Superior Public Service priority-promoting a Diverse and Talented Workforce through Competitive Opportunity, Employee Wellness, and Career Growth-the academy directly supports Objective 5.2: Encourage professional development through employee educational opportunities, skills-based training, and leadership succession planning.
