SUMMARY: 

In 2005, the City vacated an alley running east to west down the center of privately owned property located on the north side of Cleveland Street’s 400 block.  When vacating the alley, the City failed to retain an easement over the vacated alley in support of existing utilities.  The owner of two companies, now owning the former alley, has agreed to grant General Utilities Easements to the City at no cost.
