Update on Ixmiquilpan, Mexico Sister City

SUMMARY:
On Thursday, June 5th, representatives from the City of Clearwater’s Cultural Affairs Division and the President of Clearwater Sister Cities met with members of the Orlando Mexican Consulate to discuss the Sister City relationship and opportunities for future exchanges. The group agreed that collegiate exchanges would be the most practical starting point, as many colleges already have established programs, guidelines, and processes in place. Additionally, we discussed the possibility of organizing a small delegation visit within the next couple of years, which would serve as an important first step before exploring potential high school or middle school exchanges.
