Public Art Unveiling of “Ketch” - Clearwater Beach Marina Sculpture

SUMMARY:
On September 24th, 2026, the City of Clearwater celebrated the unveiling of Ketch, the newest addition to the City's public art collection, during a public ceremony at the Clearwater Beach Marina. Created by artist Eileen Gay, the vibrant mosaic sculpture depicts a boat called a ketch with swimming dolphins depicted on both sides of the sculpture, celebrating Clearwater's rich maritime heritage and coastal identity. The installation serves as a welcoming landmark for marina and beach visitors while enhancing the waterfront experience through public art. The event brought together City officials, project partners and residents to recognize the successful completion of the project and celebrate another investment in Clearwater's growing public art collection.
