Adopt the City of Clearwater’s Investment Policy and adopt Resolution 24-03.

SUMMARY:
In accordance with Florida Statute 218.415, which required that investment activity by a local government must be consistent with a written investment plan adopted by the governing body. The Downtown Development Board (DDB) adopts the city of Clearwater’s Investment policy annually as the DDB does not maintain its own accounts, and its funds are held within the city of Clearwater’s accounts.
The city’s investment policy was adopted on September 9, 2010, and no changes have been made since. Should the city adopt changes to this policy at any time during the year, the DDB will adopt those changes as well.
