Elect a Councilmember to serve as Vice Mayor.

SUMMARY:
The city charter requires the City Council to elect one of its members as Vice Mayor at the first meeting in April.
Per City Council Rule 5, the office of Vice Mayor shall be rotated amongst the councilmembers annually, with Seat 2 (Councilmember Cotton) serving in this capacity in 2026.
Council may follow the rotation schedule as designated or appoint another councilmember.
