Title
Appoint an applicant to fill a vacancy on the Downtown Development Board through December 31, 2027.

SUMMARY:
A vacancy currently exists on the Downtown Development Board due to the resignation of a board member. In accordance with City Ordinance No. 9744-24, to qualify for appointment and to remain qualified for service on the Board, at least two citizen members must meet one of the following criteria:
• Reside within the Downtown Development District;
• Have their principal place of business or employment within the District; or
• Own real property within the District.
Staff received a total of ten applications for the vacant seat. After review, five applicants were determined to meet the qualification requirements of the ordinance. The qualified and unqualified applicants are listed below.
Qualified Applicants
• Jessica Andujar- Employee, The Nash Keys
• Juan Carlos Garica - Business Owner, Clearwater Beach Fitness
• Kevin Tatlici - Business Owner, The District Bistro
• Pavlinka Vitanov - Employee, The Ring Workspaces
• Alana Whitehouse - Employee, FrankCrum
Applicants Not Meeting Qualifications
• Ronald Brown - Incomplete application
• Amelia Cruz - City employee (ineligible under ordinance)
• Megi Duhanxhiu - Business and property ownership outside DDB boundaries
• Tiffany Green - Business ownership outside DDB boundaries
• Barbara Sorey-Love - Does not meet ordinance qualification requirements
