SUMMARY:
Present an overview of the Art Oasis Mural Festival, an initiative bringing vibrant new public art to the North Greenwood Community Redevelopment Area. The festival is designed to celebrate community identity, enhance public spaces, and create lasting visual landmarks throughout the area. Staff will provide an update on the four completed murals located at:
• North Greenwood Library, 905 N Martin Luther King Jr Ave
• Isay M Gulley Head Start Center, 1045 N Martin Luther King Jr Ave
• Safe House of North Greenwood, 1201 N Betty Lane
• Cherry Harris Park, 1141 Beckett Street
As well as highlight future mural locations planned in the North Greenwood community.
