Body

SUMMARY:

The City of Clearwater has an agreement with Florida Gas Transmission (FGT) to reserve space within their pipeline to transport natural gas supply to Clearwater Gas System’s (CGS) four gate station delivery points.  The Agreement that CGS is requesting renewal is for FTS-1 service agreement. Historically this agreement was named rate schedule FTS-2 service agreement and it is now being renewed under FTS-1.  CGS’s maximum gas supply entitlements under FTS-1 are listed below in dekatherms (Dth):

May - October:       248,032 Dth (1,348 per day)

November - April:   324,142 Dth (1,781 per day)

Total capacity:        572,174 Dth

The new FTS-1 Service agreement will become effective March 1, 2025 and shall continue in effect through February 28, 2035.  In addition, no changes are being made to the supply entitlements or rates; therefore, no additional funds are required for the transportation service.
